Alluma was founded through a groundbreaking partnership between two of the most trusted names in healthcare—Mayo Clinic and Vizient. This collaboration brought together Mayo Clinic’s renowned clinical expertise and Vizient’s industry-leading knowledge in supply chain management and operational efficiency. The shared vision was to transform the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) industry by addressing rising drug costs, reducing complexities, and improving access to affordable medications.

From its inception, Alluma has been dedicated to creating a PBM experience rooted in transparency, fairness, and integrity. Unlike traditional PBMs, Alluma does not own its own pharmacies, avoiding conflicts of interest and ensuring that the focus remains on the best outcomes for employers, members and health systems.
